SOON RESUMING OUR RESCUE WORK IN GREECE AND SERBIA!

Rescued Dogs from Spain

We are so grateful that all 20 of our Spain dogs were all adopted into homes in the UK back in 2020 with Save Our Spaniels and Spaniel Aid.

We have been rescuing Brittanys in Serbia during COVID and placing them in homes with our partner rescue in The Netherlands.  We are restarting our rescue work in Greece beginning August 2023.  Stay tuned for more informations and dogs for fostering and adoption coming soon!

Please keep us in mind and we hope we can place one of our rescue dogs with you in the near future!

Cast Aside After Serving Their Masters

Please help these abandoned hunting dogs get a loving home now! This is our partner shelter in El Ronquillo, Spain. We pull hunting dogs from kill shelters and others we find wandering the streets, abandoned. Without SDRI, these loving dogs would be destroyed. Help us give them the loving homes they all deserve.

Our Mission

SDRI rescues abused, abandoned and surrendered hunting dogs  and provides them with veterinary care, spay/neutering, foster care, transport and adoption into permanent loving homes. SDRI was incorporated in April 2019 and is a non-profit charitable organization with 501c3 status- that means your life-saving donation is tax deductible!

ACTIVITIES

Saving One Life at a Time

Why do we do what we do? While we still have work to do in the U.S. for animal welfare, many other countries are far behind. In some countries, we are one of only a few organizations working to save these precious lives.

FOSTERING

We ensure the safety and good care for every dog we rescue both in country and within the U.S.

VETERINARY SERVICES

All dogs we rescue receive extensive veterinary care including vaccinations, de-worming/heartworm treatment (if needed), spay/neutering, and qualify for all necessary health certificates and federal authorizations (Department of Agriculture and Customs) needed to bring them to the U.S.
